Steps on how to perform a basic search on Elibrary
Once you have elibrary open, click the seach box.
Type in the topic of your search.
After that you will choose the source in which your information will come from, by checking the boxes under magazines, newspapers, books, maps, websites, pictures, Audio/video, and transcripts.
Then you will hit enter, and there will be the results from our search.
You will sort through general, literature, and history.
Pre-conducted search
When searching parasites I did the Following:
1. I typed in parasites in the search box and chose check all sources.
2. Upon entering I found a plethora of results, 48 from newspapers, 44 pictures, 219 magazines, 0 maps, 20 books, 9 audio/video, 6 websites, and 54 transcripts.
3. When doing a research paper this search process is the perfect way to find information, and by clicking on the links you will open a door to new information.
To preform an advanced search on Elibrary:
1.Check off all the appropriate sources you wish to find information on.
2.Select a topic
3. If you are looking for a book you can type in the authors name, the document title, and the publication name.
4. Click the advanced search button and your results will apear.
The advanced search is a good source to use because you have the option to select different languages and dates in which you want the books publishing dates to be between.
